Getting Ready

Getting ready photos, bridal (or groom) preparations, morning photos, what ever you call them this is the perfect place to begin the story of your wedding day. It's an opportunity for me to introduce myself to the wedding party, mum, dad, brothers and sisters, close family and friends and a chance to get to know you all a little bit better. It's also the first time you'll see me in action and see how I will quickly put everyone at ease with my friendly unobtrusive style.

The morning of your wedding is a unique period in the day with its a buzz of emotions - nerves, excitement, laughter, joy, tears and love. I like to photograph this part of the day in a natural candid style, capturing all those raw emotions in a way that maintains the authenticity and intimacy of the moment.

It's also the perfect time to capture the details! You've spent a lot of time carefully choosing your wedding dress, wedding shoes, wedding bouquet, the bridesmaids dresses and flowers, the rings.  I will use this time to photograph them all in their splendor.

Finally, let's not forget those all important beautiful portrait images of you once you're in your wedding dress (or suit).  Now it has to be said that not everyone likes their photo being taken, and so I will be led entirely by you regarding your wedding portraits, but my friendly relaxed style is guaranteed to put you at ease. I also don't think there is a need to spend hours and hours on your portrait photos, usually just a few minutes is enough.
